So I am getting teary eyed as I remember two years ago, the night before he left for his mission and all the memories and experiences we have gone through or lived through via Robby.  I can't believe two years have come and gone and in 5 more days Robby will be returning home.  I know it will be bittersweet for him and I can appreciate that.  But I am so excited for his return on April 13, 2011!

Having so much fun being a Grandmama!

Bruce and I drove up Tuesday night after work to babysit Brynlie while Rachel and Travis ran an errand.  When we arrived, Brynlie was falling asleep.  I said to Brynlie, "Come to Grandmama!"  Her eyes opened wide for a minute.  Either I scared her or she recognized my voice! (lol)  I am going that she recognized my voice!  Just love being a Grandmama! :)

Yellow Sunday!

Sunday Bruce and I made dinner for the 4 of us. As we were packing up, Bruce noticed that we were having a yellow dinner (didn't think about the colors as I was planning the meal). I made chicken enchiladas, chicken flavored rice (Rachel can't have spicy foods), corn and to drink Ginger Ale and Applie Juice. For dessert we had yellow frosted cupcakes! :) Travis had also bought banana creamies. Rachel's cousin, Megan, said we should have worn yellow! You know I would have had I thought of it before! Had a fun Sunday afternoon with the Thompsen Family!

Great Grandpa Jackson

Rachel's cousin, Danny Buffington and Bruce's Dad drove up to Clinton, Utah to visit Rachel, Travis and Brynlie! Great Grandpa Jackson being a little nervous as Rachel was giving Brynlie to him to hold asked, "Does she bite?"

My computer wasn't working until now and that is why I am so late in posting. Rachel and Brynlie doing well! Brynlie still not growing as fast as the doctor's would like her to, but she is healthy! Rachel is loving being a new mom and feels so lucky to be a stay-at-home!
I am going to spend Wednesday, Thursday, Friday helping both mom and baby!

One Year Ago!

Can't believe it has already been a year that my Dad passed away (January 13). It has been a completely different year and I miss my Dad very much! On Thursday, January 13, Ron, Carmen and I took the day off of work so that we could spend it with my Mom. We went shopping, visited my Dad's grave, and went to Chuck-a-Rama for lunch. We had a lot of fun talking and reminiscing. Very little tears. The only thing that was missing was our Dad! Love ya, Dad!
I have pictures, but it won't let me post them! ugh...
