After two years of serving a full-time mission in the Florida Jacksonville Mission, Robby returns!  He had a two hour delay and anyone that was at Costco when I received that phone call, I am sorry you had to hear my "NNNOOO!!!"  Bruce very quickly took the phone away from me!  All is good now!

Diane, Kristina (my niece) and McKayla (Kimberly's daughter and my great-neice).  We have been told that we look quite similar and that we all three have the same sassy personalities!  What do you think!  I love being told I have a sassy personality!

Susan B Kommen Breast Cancer Race

Today I walked in memory and in celebration of my two older sisters...  Renate and Carmen.  At the end of the race they had all the breast cancer survivors stand on the steps going up to the water fountains.  Thousands of survivors, some 25-35 years!  They are our "pink angels"  We all cried!  May they find a cure very soon!

April 8, 2009 - April 8, 2011

February 2009 Right before he opened his mission call letter        Robby at the MTC April 8, 2009.

So I am getting teary eyed as I remember two years ago, the night before he left for his mission and all the memories and experiences we have gone through or lived through via Robby.  I can't believe two years have come and gone and in 5 more days Robby will be returning home.  I know it will be bittersweet for him and I can appreciate that.  But I am so excited for his return on April 13, 2011!

Having so much fun being a Grandmama!

Bruce and I drove up Tuesday night after work to babysit Brynlie while Rachel and Travis ran an errand.  When we arrived, Brynlie was falling asleep.  I said to Brynlie, "Come to Grandmama!"  Her eyes opened wide for a minute.  Either I scared her or she recognized my voice! (lol)  I am going that she recognized my voice!  Just love being a Grandmama! :)

Yellow Sunday!

Sunday Bruce and I made dinner for the 4 of us. As we were packing up, Bruce noticed that we were having a yellow dinner (didn't think about the colors as I was planning the meal). I made chicken enchiladas, chicken flavored rice (Rachel can't have spicy foods), corn and to drink Ginger Ale and Applie Juice. For dessert we had yellow frosted cupcakes! :) Travis had also bought banana creamies. Rachel's cousin, Megan, said we should have worn yellow! You know I would have had I thought of it before! Had a fun Sunday afternoon with the Thompsen Family!
