While Everyone was at the 24th of July Parade we...
(Robby & I) got up very early, picked up Grandma & Grandpa Black @ 7 a.m., drove to Centerville to pick up Andy and Aimee (they're getting married in September) and then to Ogden to pick up Rachel and Travis and headed for.....BEAR LAKE!!! We had soooo much fun! We got their around 10:30ish and Grandma & Grandpa rented Waverunners for us and all of us loved our fun day trip! Ron & Andrea and family (my brother and his wife and their 6 children) were there too! What a day! We had fun taking turns on the waverunners and when we weren't on the waverunners we were swimming and making sandcastles and eating and visiting! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Black for renting the waverunners and for the great day!!! We set up a picnic area and with the beach area so close to the water, those on the shore were able to watch us in the water! In the later afternoon, on our way home, we stopped for Bear Lake's famous Raspberry Shakes!!! Robby and I (Bruce had to work this holiday, but he went with us on the 4th of July) dropped everyone off and returned home around 8:30, having had one of the best 24 of July holiday activity! We are still talking and reminising about this day and hope that we will continue to make it a family tradition (this is our 3rd year)!
The next day @ 7:00 a.m. Grandma Black had two stents put in one of her main arteries - oh boy! Today, 27, she was able to come to our house for a couple of hours so that we could celebrate her birthday! She is still very weak and hope this wasn't too much for her.

Pictures are of us at Grandma's Birthday, Andy & Aimee and Bear Lake (sorry I did it wrong even though Rachel just told me to do the last pictures first and the first pictures last). I do try to listen!!!!!
Look out Bear Lake we're coming again in a couple of weeks and spending a week there! The lake will never be the same after we leave (lol).

HELLO AGAIN!
Okay...so I forgot my password and all that stuff and had to start all over! This time I saved all the bloggin info in a special place. Hopefully I will remember this "special place" if I need to so that I won't have to do this again. If I do, just go to Rachel's blog, and read what we are doing! She does a much better job than I do anyway. Enjoy (hopefully)....
HAPPY JULY 4TH!
For July 4th we went to Bear Lake for the day! We got up early, picked up Grandma and Grandpa Black, got McDonald's Breakfast and headed up thru Evanston and so forth and got to Bear Lake around 10:30! A lot of "Fun in the Sun" for us! On our way back to the hot city, we got us the Famous Bear Lake Raspberry Shake to hold us over thru the Logan and Sardine Canyon where we stopped at Maddox for an early dinner in Brigham City! Rachel and Travis met us later in the evening and the 5 of us all went to the Murray Park Fireworks. I think we were all exhausted and basically sat around until the fireworks began! The next day, the guys got up early (Rachel and I said, "don't wake us as you leave") to play a round of golf! Then we went to Raging Waters from 11-6 p.m. We were then totally exhausted. The three of us slept from 10:45 p.m. to 10:45 a.m. the next day! As usual, we all had a blast!
Robby's Graduation & Memorial Day!
Hey, Robby, "The tassle was worth the hassle", right???? Robby graduated from Murray High School May 31, 2008! That night Rachel
and I got to check in all the seniors as they entered the Murray Rec Center and Saturday night both the Black Family and Jackson Family
came over for a barbeque to help celebrate this victory!!! It was a lot of fun and even though Robby didn't want this party, I think he still had fun!
CONGRATS, ROBZ!!!!!

Memorial Day at the cabin! It rained most of the time, but that didn't stop us from having a lot of fun! Grandpa Jackson, Bruce's nephews, Rachel & Travis and the 3 of us spent the weekend fishing, golfing (the picture of me looks like I'm swinging a baseball bat, but that was my best swing), eating, playing games and bowling!
